Hey I’m Rosie! I’m a 22 year old student, video creator, and queer gal from the UK. In may 2019 my long term partner Arlo fully came out to me as non-binary and decided they wanted to transition. As any young person does, I turned to the internet for advice and guidance hoping to find stories from people in similar situations to me – I found nothing.
After some deep searching I managed to find some Facebook threads about people with non-binary partners but the result was disheartening. The overall consensus was that if you didn’t consider yourself pansexual (which I don’t) then your relationship was doomed to fail. This upset me tremendously, I wasn’t prepared to give up my partner of 3 years and my best friend just because I hadn’t seen any other similar relationships work.
So I decided that if I couldn’t find any content about successful relationships where one partner was non-binary, then I would make that content myself.
And so this blog was born.
